    Milestone Pic

I just crossed 2000 miles. After next week I will likely be riding a lot more. Obligations and weather are holding me back right now.

    engine problem

My idle speed is also between 1400 and 1500 rpm when the bike is warm. I also did not hear anything unusual in your video. But there are so many variables to consider. Did you always hear this sound or did it just start and if so did you change anything on the bike? mgg

    Side Mirrors swap out

I do like the positioning of the windshield mounted mirrors up front farther forward than stock. I allways felt like the stock mirrors were too close to me. That new position is likely easier to see with less haed/eye movement making it easier to keep your eyes on the road. I don't know this, I...

    Side Mirrors swap out

"Those bolts were the right thread direction for each side of the stock mirrors?" Hi Bill: The holes in the bike are threaded regular right hand tighten. (So the standard bolts suppied with the extenders will work fine.) The OEM mirrors are threaded so that one is left hand and one is right...

    Side Mirrors swap out

I can't tell how or where those mirrors mount? (With the picture blown up I can see it.) I also swapped out my mirrors to ones that I already had. They went in the same place as the original mirrors so it was not a great improvment until I added some mirror extenders which raised them about...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

I have not put heat shrink on yet as I did not have a pice that would fit over the ball at the end of the brake lever. I might have something bigger just have not checked yet. It would go over the brake lever right where the pin holds the lever closed. If I get it done this weekend I'll post a...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

That is a great idea. Awsome!! Thanks for sharing that I have a bunch of that stuff and will do the same. I was trying to figure out how to get some rubber or leather to stick. The heat shink solves that problem.

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

I did it slightly different. I sanded the outside of the brass insert to fit the hole. I used 300 grit and smoothed with 600 grit. (It was only slightly too large.) I think you are correct that the longest insert is still to short but so far that has not been an issue for me. I'm going to re...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

I just ordered some foam grips for my C400gt. I had them on my last three bikes and they are my favorite, I found some Grab Ons that are 4.25 inches so I won't have to cut them. Also they work with my heated grips which is nice in Wisconsin...

    C400GT Top Box

@birdcaca These are the exact locations I used however your illistrations are much better than mine. And this is the perfect spot to mount as well. Even with the case open you can still open the seat which I find very helpful at time.

    New owner questions.

I've seen this screen on the Facebook C400gt users group page. It is very difficult to tell what real benifits there are other than an improved screen. I guess the video is called Dynamic Upgrad Stock. Or is that the name of the software? It appears to be a software upgrade to the screen but...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

The person on the facebook c400gt page posted that their unit is working well and they did not have to modify anything. Plug and play so to speak. They said you just have to use the supplied hadware. He did note that every thing was black except the supplied nut which is stainless and kinda...

Has anyone put one of these one button parking brakes on their bike?

Thanks Bill; I love to modify stuff that will make my riding experiance more enjoyable, You talked me into it. I'll give it a try. There is something else I want from there so I get that as well. mgg
