Does the CE-04 also have a 12V battery?

Good morning. I have a lot to learn as a new electric vehicle owner!

ive read that many electric cars and bikes have a lithium ion series of batteries to power the vehicle but also a 12V battery to power it on. It seems that too often the 12V battery goes dead leaving the vehicle stranded, even with a full charge.

does ce-04 have 12V battery and if so how to keep it charged when bike is in storage?

thanks for your advice much appreciated

Very helpful my thanks to you both. So if my scoot was stored for winter reasonable to assume the 12V would retain a charge and be ok in Spring?

was reading about a guy with a Vespa Eletrica whose 12V went dead...

"12V Battery, If you should need to charge it direct to the battery terminals with an ordinary Float/Tender/Maintainer charger,
"The Oxford Oximiser 900 or Optimate 4" will fit the bill.
The Charger must be AGM compatible. (Absorbent Glass Mat)
~~If that's what is fitted in your case,

"The manual states the 12v Battery must be Disconnected from the bike, Not removed but disconnected. Otherwise damage can occur to the electronics"
"Check the Manual" https://www.manuals.co.uk/bmw/ce-04-2021/manual

it has one and is recharged by the lithium ion battery. no need to keep it charged for long term storage
