Looking for Side Bags & Mounts for BMW C650 GT

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I purchased a 2019 BMW C650 GT last fall and I am planning some longer road trips this summer with another friend who has a bike. I know the 650 GT has a lot of storage built in under the seat, and that they make trunks but I was hoping to "round out" the look while adding some additional storage with some saddlebags to store additional items for longer trips.

I've done some digging and it appears there were hard bag and trunk mount systems made for this bike, but they are no where to be found as they've since been discontinued (as to why I can only guess). The mounts and bags I'm referring to are the GIVI PL5106. I've searched everywhere online and even contacted GIVI USA and they said my best bet was to try and find some on Ebay.

I wanted to post here to see if anyone may know of where I could buy these, or would be willing to sell if they these onhand. Any help appreciated!

Here are some images to what I'm referring to.

I've only ever seen these on one other bike. It was a '13 that was for sale that had them on there. I would assume that's why Givi stopped making them. I've traveled quite a bit on mine and the underseat storage along with the BMW trunk served me well. I crammed most of my clothing into a removable bag made for the trunk. Under the seat was most of my cold weather gear and a few other items. You'll find you can store quite a bit of stuff on there. One thing I'd recommend for any long distance travel is to change the seat and the windshield. The stock seat, while looks good, is brutal for anything more than a couple hours. I put a Corbin on mine, but there's a couple other custom manufacturers that will re-do your stock seat.
The only other thing I didn't like was that at 80ish MPH you're pretty much limited to 150 mile range... other than that it's a great touring bike.

They were also produced as the Kappa KL5106. I did not buy them when they were available and regret it. I have not been able to find any so far. I also want to acquire a set for long term traveling when I retire this summer. Any leads will be appreciated.

I am looking at getting a trunk to expand the already generous storage but was hoping to add a bit more so I'd never have any issues. I know that the GIVI system required you to buy the side mounts along with their trunk mount (as I believe it secures into that) so I was hoping to see if anyone may know of where to get them. Hopefully I find someone willing to part with them at some point. Worst case scenario if I have too much junk I'll just bungie it down in the back.

As far as the windshield, I have upgraded to a taller windshield as I'm 6'3" and I was getting a crazy amount of buffeting at higher speeds with the stock windshield at the highest position. The aftermarket one I bought creates a nice air pocket that makes the ride much more enjoyable. I haven't had any issues with the seat yet so I may hold off on that until I notice any fatigue. That said, we're not planning on doing a long trip. Probably a total of 10-12 hours split up over two days or so. I live in the Minneapolis, MN area so I was planning on meeting up with my friend in WI and then heading up to Duluth area and farther up on the north shore with some stops around the way. Debating on traveling up to the Gun Flint Trail and then tent camping somewhere to spend the night. Haven't really solidified anything yet as we're a few months out from being able to ride around here, but we'd probably only see ~5 hours a so a day of driving.

Here’s my inquiry for Givi last September. Quite a hilarious information that ”there wasn’t demand from the market” cause at least in international FB group someone calls after them almost every day. However, here’s official info from the Givi staff.
