Well, I I learned about them in bmw-scooters.com school, and my new plan is to still drill through the pinch bolt hole (just got a longer M6 bolt yesterday), not place a nut on the opposite side, rather a heli coil, maybe even a time sert. That is if the dealer can't get it warranted next week.

It came out fine, but when I put it back it did not catch thread, just freely turned. No torque, simply a hand tighten.
