I would look at installation instructions for those winter setups that cover you lower body as I’ve noticed they attach to lateral trim panels through the hole in the middle/center, and I’m assuming it’s coming out somewhere on the other side, so those instructions should show how those panels...
Do you have a front facing picture with the mirrors in the useable position?
I’ve only seen a front view picture of the CE04 with rizomas but they’re folded down
Has anyone switched out the stock mirrors for something else?
I’ve only seen one post here with a picture of stock vs rizoma wing, which I personally thought were too small for me so I looked for something in between and kinda like them although haven’t used them enough yet.
The stock mirrors...
Then definitely a different euro spec because mine measure around 3.5 cms and I have also seen the NA spec indicators and they’re noticeably bigger than either of ours and they don’t have clear plastic over the leds, they have frosted plastic but only function as turn signals on euro spec bikes...
The indicators on my bike are the euro spec multifunctional indicators that work as back light, stop light and turn signals, but they’re likely still different than yours as mine measure just over 3cm at the widest point, the part number for the right side indicator that I replaced is...
The bmw protector (part #3 in the first picture) is a small brace type plastic piece that goes in the same place yours go, so I’m wondering if they could be mounted one on top of the other for extra protection.
The bmw ones don’t cover the indicators entirely but I added the cinch strap and...
Why doesn’t somebody make a backrest like this that could flip and fold down to be used as a luggage rack
Btw, I also agree a top case ruins the look of this bike, especially the square ones, some bikes don’t look so bad with the clamshell givi type boxes but I don’t think even one of those...
I like it for some extra short trips I do and plan to buy the high line model once it’s available here, which apparently will be around spring/summer of next year
Ok gotcha, I also have the multifunctional indicators that have rear light, stop light and indicator like the euro spec ones, I will try the bmw protectors and zip tie solution while I find a local welder that can build a custom steel harness for them and report back
Thanks for the reply, I already ordered the bmw protectors as my scooter came without them and plan to zip tie them, but they still leave the led part vulnerable
I also recently saw these below but I’ll asume those are some of the 3D printed ones you’re referring to, and also wonder how they...
I just ordered the bmw protectors but apparently they don’t offer enough protection either, I’m still gonna install them and zip tie over them to help when pulled away from the scooter but the part where the leds are is still vulnerable to breaking
I recently saw these at a european FB page...
I find it hard to believe nobody has tried to re-route the rear indicators towards the back of the seat, from where the indicators are plugged in it certainly seems like it’s doable
I was honestly expecting the euro riders to have figured it out after breaking so many of them
Has anyone here...
Did you try them on the euro spec indicators or the US spec ones?
I just found out the hard way recently that the US spec indicators are considerably bigger than the euro spec ones
If anyone needs a US spec rear right side indicator just send me a message and I’ll sell it cheaper than retail...
