BMW dropping the C650 in the USA ?

BMW does offer the 2020 C650GT on their website. The C400X looks like the most recent is 2019. No mention of the Sport. I seriously doubt they'll intro a new model before clearing existing inventory; scooter margins seem low so they're not going to obsolete and take discounts on existing...

My windscreen adjuster won’t work after a long winter storage? Please help? Thanks.

Mine also. Inevitably happens if I drop the kickstand while engine's still running, or hit the kill switch. Grrr. FWIW, the big bikes also have the problem. GS-911 has a reset-limits capability for them, but I've not found it for my C650GT so far.

That's a very clean install, and your bike looks awesome. Nice!

    Windshield question (C650GT)

I'd like to install that big windshield on MY bike (I do sit pretty tall). I'd offer to trade you my stock one but it has two scuffs from where my phone mount rubbed it when parking the bike. If the price is right and the shipping cost isn't too exorbitant, let's make a deal. Jim ps, the...

    Replace front light bulb

I got 8500 miles and my primary gave up the ghost. There are two solutions proposed on this thread and others. I tried the reaching up under approach first since it sounded easiest. Ummm, that bulb holding clip is very tricky to manipulate if you don't have eyes on, since you have to squeeze...

    Scooter won't start

Sounds VERY much like water in the fuel system somewhere. The "ran rough for a few seconds" phrase caught my eye. "...more throttle" to keep it running also sounds familiar. Just ask anyone with a lawn mower in a rainy climate...

how far do you go before filling up?

When the fuel display blinks, I head for a fill-up. I once ignored a blinking fuel symbol on my Burgman and ended up walking a half-mile to the gas station and then HAD TO PURCHASE A GAS CAN for $12, then two gallons of gas, then walk it back to the bike. In the end, there's just no way it was...

    Converting single headlight to dual

Sigh. I have to say I agree with the simpler approach; wish there was a firmware mod that would turn on both as lo-beam during daylight riding. Oh well, hi-beam on during daylight hours is smart riding in any case. And today I finally figured out what the term "cager" represented. Just...

    Converting single headlight to dual

I now have had three people mention to me that one of my headlights is burned out. OK, the C650GT has two bulbs, one for regular lighting and the second for high-beam only. Anyone heard of any kind of adaptation that would convert this system to one similar to sport bikes' configuration of two...

    GPS Mounts

Second the motion. I had that setup on my Burgman 650 and am duplicating it for my C650GT. It positioned my iPhone (using Maps, of course) at just about the right height for easy-to-see yet obtrusive to my direct field of vision.

Has anyone had the bike cut off

After six weeks of repair attempts on my 2016 C650GT (with 30 miles on the odo), it has remained in the shop where even factory engineers reprogramming my bike's ECU(s) could not fix the problem. BMW North America just bought it back. I'm told that this mine was a unique problem. I will be...

Has anyone had the bike cut off

Sorry for such a late response, but my 2016 had this engine shut-off since mile 4 on the bike. NEW. Stalled approaching stops and tight turns six times while driving home from the dealership. Been there ever since. That, btw, has been over a month now; it's been in "diagnostics" and...

C650gt for sale 3518 miles loaded $8900 obo

I think you caught a scammer. "Up for sale" is a VERY common prelude to a craigslister either moving hot merchandise or trolling for email addresses and phone numbers. They'll cut and paste from other posts to build a new one. I could be wrong on this one, but there is only one posting and...
