That’s great, I would be happy with that top speed, and achievable on the pre 2016 models, for my 2016 GT is more difficult, the gearing is different.

I have a 2016 model that uses 43gr OEM, 22gr is ridiculously low. I don’t want high revving I want top speed.

If you got a 2nd hand, start by servicing the motorbike a replace whatever is too wear out, 2013 model is good for top speed as it has a wider transmission ratio than the 2016, to improve acceleration just get the malossi variator and problem solved

Same with me, now it revs to max quicker and doesn’t get more than 173km/h on the last setup Malossi variator + Dr.Pulley 40g sliders

Just to let you know, got a Malossi over range variator with the dr.pulley and gained a bit more of top speed keeping the acceleration higher than stock, now 173km/h gps is top speed, improving the take off. Also got the clutch counter spring from malossi and I’m not sure I like it seems there...

Do you need the speed limiter off or the rpm increased? In my case I always hit the limiter before anything else, mine is a 2016 version

Oil sensor on this model is very sensible, I suggest you add a bit more than max and you will never be bothered with the check oil message in the dash. Sometimes I gives me the message if I leave the motorbike uphill

I have the dr.pulley 40g on my 2016GT and improves allot overall acceleration (top speed lowered is now 165km/h GPS), make sure you install them well otherwise you get allot of vibrations and increases the faster you go. Get the OEM mount and then attach a quadlock system on it, works really well and is discrete, that’s what I’m running with a Xiaomi Max 3 for the big screen

Correct it defaults to on… I tried once but you can also just force (keep giving gas) and after a while traction control switches off on its own. After that you see a light on your next ride but after a few kilometers it resets. Otherwise use a OBD app to clean the error code

My 2016 C650 GT had the old spring cam chain tensioner and with 10k km (6k miles) got bad and the noise was louder at cold and then got better as it warmed up… still made the retrofit for hydraulic, BMW also said that was all fine but it wasn’t. After taking it out the tensioner was stick hard...
