Curious things in my Owners Manual

Well Mattster, I think you beat me. I bought a 2020 650GT last May or so and it had 360 miles. I have the post from May '23 that will attest to it. I absolutely love the ride and so does my wife (when she goes). I saw the question about the charging socket and I had the same issue. I looked...

Thought this was interesting. Bragging rights!

It looks like a radar detector.

Let me pour some euro goodness on ya

The only issue I have with the woman is that she interferes with a good view of the scooter. It looks like they're trying to motorcycle up the scooter, further blending the lines between the two.

    Serendipity and my new GT

Del, I never saw the article Del, I just went to WSJ.com and printed that article for my C650GT file. If anyone needs it I'll send it to them...just ask. Or, is there a place in this forum to post a link? What a review! I don't go anywhere without someone at a stop light asking me if it's a...

    FOR SALE: LIGHT WHITE 2020 C 650 GT $7,000

Thanks Rod. I'll check for it. When you say "right side" do you mean throttle side? I'll let you know what I find.

    FOR SALE: LIGHT WHITE 2020 C 650 GT $7,000

I have to admit that's really pretty. I installed a Shad backrest for my wife who was convinced i was trying to kill her every time I took off when a light turned green. She's much happier now although not totally convinced about my intentions.

However, white shows every bug that you ever hit. :ROFLMAO:

    FOR SALE: LIGHT WHITE 2020 C 650 GT $7,000

I have the twin to that bike. I had no idea it was "light white". I always thought it was silver! I bought it (also a 2020) with 354 miles. I now have to take it in for its 600 mile service. I absolutely love the ride and so does my wife who was initially against it. (I also have an RT 1250)...

    Backrest feedback, Givi vs Shad

I'm a relatively new owner of a 2020 650 GT. Great bike. Wife was used to my RT 1250 top box as a back rest and wanted one for the Scooter. I got the Shad and it works great. It was an easy install but you have to make two orders. One is for the mounting bracket and the other is for the backrest...

Just another beautiful ride in South Texas

James, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have ridden everything you can ride, from a Harley, to a Duc, dirt, street, and I absolutely LOVE my C650 GT 2020 that I just bought in July with 354 miles. It's the most fun I've had on two wheels in a long time. My RT 1250 just sits there, dying of...

    New member welcome thread..

I'm Joel, also from SoCal. In July I picked up a 2020 C650 GT with 354 miles on it. I live in Ventura County with my RT1250 but I keep my scooter at my house just north of Huntington Beach. Beach traffic and parking is a mess and the scooter is the perfect vehicle to ride and park. I'm going to...

    Speed Accuracy

I think it's a BMW idiosyncracy. I have had 6 BMW cars, 2 BMW motorcycles, and now a 650 GT. EVERY single one of the speedometers reflected 2-3 mph over. For comparison I used the ones offered like in your picture, only one offered by my local friendly PD, and the one on my GPS. I think BMW...

Connecting battery charger to C650 Sport

I purchased a 2020 C650 GT and am keeping it at another property. I want to put a smart charger on it but I couldn't find the second socket. Am I reading this correctly that the second socket is factory installed under the headlight area? This would be extremely helpful because I'm going there...

    Hello from Livermore, California

I recently (May) bought a cover from Carcovers.com. I have a 2020 C650 GT. I bought the Platinum Shield Scooter Cover (sku: pssc1) and I love it. $119.95. Fits perfectly without being too snug. Goes all the way down to the ground. It also has a way to lock it (lock not provided) underneath. You...

Hydraulic Cam Chain Tensioner Installation Success (with a few anxious moments)

I am the proud owner of a new 2020 650 GT. It only has 600 miles on it. How many miles did you (or anyone) have on the bike before you had to do a maintenance issue like this? I have a BMW motorcycle shop close enough to use but I assume they'll be as expensive as they are with my 1200RT...
