I have the 2012 c600 Sport and the only thing I wish is that the initial acceleration was much faster, takes too long to get going in the stop starts of city traffic. Apart from that I really like that bike.

I know the sound your talking about, almost like it's some animal but it's not it. This is the timing chain tensioner sound when it goes bad in the attached link (note when on the bike it's not as loud because of the panels still being on the bike and your helmet) I replaced my tensioner myself...
Very nice 😎. I sure hope you thoroughly enjoy it. As for the washing I just lightly jet wash mine as it gets well messy, I have the C600 Sport and put a mudguard on it as it totally needed it.

Both will show. Once I experience that leaving work, started the bike to get going then got red warning light and TPM on the right showing 0.9 BAR (13 PSI), I then checked the back tire to find a large nail stucked in it!

I also changed mine at over 15k miles and that was with hard London riding, when I took the belt out you could see it was okay with the extra miles.

I'm sensitive to a 2 HP change in a bike as for bikes is way more of a % increase than what you'll notice in a car. I'm not the most gentle rider, I open that c600 alot and I'm a bit fussed about performance hence why I'm using a Dr. Pully Variator and will be getting their clutch, Power Command...
I have the Akrapovic exhaust it sure made a big difference to the sound but also performance especially with the DB killer out, even had people commenting on how deep the sound is. You can find the Akrapovic much less on ebay than from BMW.
