i have fitted an akrapovic to a GT and i remember the silencer being a different shape and size, the GT mounting plate mounts different.

i have worked on a GT that had a casing replaced, i did wonder why it had been done.

this should be an easy fix, just a gasket. every service the case bolts should be re-torqued, hopefully that's all yours might need.
