Are both of these screens acrylic? I checked 7jurock and no listing yet for their screen. Calsci is about 240. Vstream ranges from 150 for shortest screen to 200 for the tallest. 180 for the one in the middle and free shipping over 100 bucks.

Looked again at the vstream site and they tout the fact that they make their screens out of polycarbonate and its much stronger than acrylic/lexan.

Can't speak for all the others but I am thrilled with my Vstream. Seems solid and completely covers up and over my 6'1" head plus height of helmet. Zero wind....I have the largest one and it is at least 4-5 inches higher than the stock screen.

I just went back to the 7Jurock site and I still don't see a C650 screen, there is now a listing for the scooter, but no screens pop up when searching. The California covid restrictions had them closed for a few weeks, but I think they are able to go back now sso maybe there will be a link soon.

I'm glad this started a conversation about screens, Several of the ones I hadn't bought but had thought about have been brought up and presented but riders who do have them and cover what's good about them as well, if I had been able to find a post similar to this when I started looking at changing my screen I would have probably gone with the Vstream, was already leaning in that direction when I ran across the 7Jurock on another BMW forum for their touring bikes and thought about asking if one was available.

Also, what I said earlier, there is no screen that everyone will like, there is no screen that will tic ALL the boxes for everyone from us short fat peoplpe to the tall guys, the color, the height of the screen, the looking over or through, the focal quality or the strenght of the material. But there are many options that make the scooter more enjoyable and useful.

Please take some pix when you get it installed. That's the one I am thinking about getting.

Evil spock I have the same one and it is very easy to see through. In fact I never even realize I am looking through it. The clarity is fantastic.

Heard from 7Jurock, they saw I was aiming at a $150 price point and say if you mention my name when ordering you'll get a 10% discount, FWIW I'm still very happy with mine.
My name is Pat Montgomery, I don't think they know me as Pappy13.

New Ztechnik screen came today. Put it on the bike, but haven't ridden it yet. Interesting, if you stand the old oem next to the new one they look to be the same height (this is the mid size screen). But on the bike, I now cant see over the new screen, even when it is in the lowest position. Very clear, as good as the OEM.

I got the large Z screen and had the same visual...Looks same size but definitely can not see over the screen in the full up position. It sits at least a few inches over my head. Had it for a couple of months. I love it. Way better than the stock screen for getting through the wind.

Took the bike for a short ride today on the highway. Got it up to 75, didnt feel like 75 so maybe the screen is helping with that. In full up position, I cant see over it at all, with the OEM I could just about if I craned my neck some. Could feel the air stream right about at the top of my helmet which is good. I need some wind in the down position when its 90 out. Real easy to swap them out, 4 screws and its off. Optical clarity is great, equal to the OEM screen.

A couple of photos of the new screen showing the height:

Sitting side by side, the vstream is really not any taller than the oem (middle size) but it shaped differently so it sits taller once mounted:

@EvilTwin That bubble-bump/swoop in the face of the shield looks really nice and effective. Reminds me of the Double Bubble screens that were the rage for sportbikes back in the 90s.

Too bad they likely wouldn't make one for the c650 Sport -- the numbers just aren't there. :(
