Trying to find the tension settings for the Cylinder Head cover. I am in the process of changing the Timing Chain Tensioner to hydraulic so i need to remove the cover to access the Timing Chain from the top.

Hi Ben I am about to replace the one on my 2015 C650GT.....they can only be replaced with the hydraulic tensioner....I don't know if 2016 has the hydraulic tensioner. If you go to bosbmw.com and look up the parts microfiche for the 2016 you will need parts 5,6,8,9,11 and 12 in the parts list...

Hi Guys anyone know where I can get a SERVICE MANUAL FOR MY SCOOTER? I need to remove the valve cover to access the top guide for the timing chain as I am upgrading the scooter to a hydraulic tensioner.

Hydraulic Timing Chain Tensioner fitted from 2016 onwards...my 2015 is not fitted with it so I am going to update it myself....not a hard job just time consuming!

I have a 2015 BMW C650GT. It was my understanding that BMW updated the Scooter from 2016 onward Changing the exhaust the CVT transmission and also fitting a hydraulic tensioner etc. My 2015 when I bought it appears to have all the features of the 2016 model minus the hydraulic Timing Chain...

I need to replace the tensioner on my 2015 C650GT....the tensioner I have is the hydraulic one....how do I remove the covers so I can access the tensioner? I know how to get some of the covers off and also how to remove all of the bolts, screws etc. under the foot rests...and also the panel...
