More C600 windscreen choices than just GIVI...

For versatility, I also bought the clamp-on version; right now, I'm using it on my Vespa scooter. I really need to experiment with different heights and angles.

    LED Accessory lighting

Generally speaking, I try to never make installation of such accessories that require me to drill holes, etc. anywhere on the bike just in case future removal is desired. I've had very good luck using the industrial strength velcro that was purchased at Home Depot for many applications; I've...

    LED Accessory lighting

I use something similar because I feel I need as much help being seen as I can get - as long as it's legal. I have two of these strobe light bars, one for my scooter and one for my motorcycle. I did modify the light bar bases to better suit my specific needs. From my experience(s), they are...

    Service loaner at Dealer!

Morton's is my BMW dealer and have been doing business with them since 1996. Anytime I have my bike in for service, unless it's something they can do very quickly, they always give me a loaner of my choice -- excluding brand new, never ridden bikes. Coincidentally, last time I had my current...

    TopCase lights???

The top case on my Vespa was the same way. I read a suggestion on the Modern Vespa forum exactly what you're saying about the reflective tape. I ordered a couple of sheets of super high quality silver reflective tape specifically intended for marine/nautical use which I cut and placed under...

    BackOff XP brake light module

As you can see, I also have a set of HyperLites on my Vespa scooter which are just like the ones on my BMW R1200RT. When activated by the brake lever(s), they come on and pulsate quickly and very brightly...

    BackOff XP brake light module

My BMW's HyperLites kit DOES have a module that I installed in the bike's tail section behind the passenger seat. My guess is that some manufacturers of aftermarket lights have been engineered specifically to work properly with the CANBUS; this doesn't include the Back Off module.

    BackOff XP brake light module

So, that must be due to the CANBUS. Oddly, I installed the hi intensity HyperLites on my BMW R1200RT (w/ CANBUS) and get no such warning. See here...

    BackOff XP brake light module

FWIW, I installed one on my Royal Enfield motorcycle. On this particular bike, I chose the Back Off brake module rather than one of the various pulsating LED kits because I didn't want to compromise its vintage military aesthetics. While the Back Off brake light module isn't as...

    Front tire lift

But seriously... Is this procedure feasible for the BMW scooters? (Mitch is deaf, therefore the odd vocalizations.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3A1x4db6Z0

    Ear Cannon

I can't comment on horn mounting/placement for the BMW scooters, but I did purchase and install a "Stebel Nautilus" on my Vespa scooter and a "WOLO Big Boy" on my Royal Enfield motorcycle and they both sound exactly like the wav sample for the "Ear Canon" from the above link. FWIW, neither...

    New member welcome thread..

Welcome to Ryan and Dave from the Commonwealth of Virginia! Dave (rivetts) - I see that you had a Honda NC700; was it the DCT (dual clutch transmission) or the 6-speed manual? I was very, very, very close to purchasing the DCT version not long ago, but didn't follow thru for a couple of...
