    Asking for a friend.

It's a "DIN" plug associated mostly with German Hella as a manufacturer. You might want to try this converter, mindful of amperage draw of what you're charging...

    Plastic rattle above headlight

I’ve dug in the front and the parts are just plain “loose-ish”. Couldn’t find any tightening opportunities. Thankfully roads around me are pretty smooth; but makes me wonder about longevity issues….. oh well….

    Plastic rattle above headlight

Was in some bumpy gravel yesterday. The plastic piece above the headlight rattled a lot! I then noticed it has a bit of play (not snug-fitting). Does the same happen to everyone, or might it have come loose for me? Thanks

    Energy Recovery Limited

It's normal. Since the battery is full, regenerated energy in braking can't be added to it. When a bit of the battery is used up, regen capability returns. I've read recommendations to not rely on "engine" braking during the brief period the yellow light is on, but I've never had it happen as it...

    Charging advice please.....using public chargers

I made sure that I set the charge limit to 30A in the CE-04 and plugged into the public charger. It charged fast. Not sure if this causes any battery damage but assumed it doesn't.

    Makes total sense. Thanks!!!!

    Energy recovery restricted....

Woke up to this dash alert after charging (10A, 120V AC). Per the manual it refers to "energy recovery restricted" indicating to drive to nearest specialist workshop. Holidays make this inconvenient. Any thoughts on how to cycle through a reset to attempt correction? Thanks,

Buffeting at highway speeds (50+ MPH)

Laurie, thanks for the reply. My commute is 11 miles each way, of which 7 are highway miles (65+ MPH). What I'm getting as a current mileage estimate with a full charge is 65 miles, given that BMW's algorithm corrects for driving conditions AFAIK.

Buffeting at highway speeds (50+ MPH)

I currently have the tall OEM windscreen on my CE04. Buffeting is quite significant at 50+ MPH. Ordered a less than ideal aftermarket wind deflector which didn't improve the situation (link below). I'm at the point where I might return altogether to the original low windscreen. Any ideas on...

    Max speed governed at 80MPH

Has anyone explored options to bypass the governed 80MPH max speed? Thanks

    Charge limit

Hi, I've done some research on recommended charge limits for the CE04 (including the owner's manual to no avail). Some EV manufacturers recommend not charging their EV batteries to 100% on every charge and leave the top level for long trips (Tesla 90%, Rivian 70%); however, no recommendation...

Phone mount - will this hold?

I’m not very excited about the onboard navigation system: (1) I find it difficult to navigate with the wheel and menus, (2) I don’t like the wifi approach to the connection between phone and bike, (3) I find the voice directions annoying and (4) I think Google/Waze offer much better guidance tan...

Phone mount - will this hold?

Thanks. Don’t intend to glue or drill. Just wondering if the 3M extreme double sided tape will hold up.

Phone mount - will this hold?

New South Florida owner. Thanks for putting together the forum. Trying to find a good mobile phone mounting position. Have tried ram mirror stem mount but not ideal. Will this hold? Ram plate stuck with 3M extreme mounting tape to plastic handlebar cover. took a 5 mile test ride and looks OK.
