Goodbye and a few goodies I will no longer need...

Hi everybody! This is to inform that I am no longer a scooter owner. I trade it off to R1200R LC for the good offer from the dealer toward the year end of 2016. In fact, it is hard for me coming to the decision but I couldn't afford owning 2 bikes at one time. Having 2 years with this C series...

PowerCommnader V, auto tune and Malossi Multivar MHR 2000 variator

Hi guys! this is to inform that my c600 is just out of 2 years warranty with above 12k miles. On the service, I put 28gm dr pulley slider with the guides/pieces, replace stock air filter with knm plus all the necessities of which some parts are replaced or checked. Also I put on the Memjet Evo...

    Exhaust Mod?

It is quite subjective to say which one better. I prefer the cat out with aftermarket header and muffler for the weight saving plus bit punchy during start off and mid range. That is the glaring difference I get at least to compensate the gain i have been enjoying when I rode sport bike years...

    Exhaust Mod?

Bobhlu I still use the stock plyball and spring. For warranty sake, I am waiting up to this June only then I will be putting Dr pulley slider of 28gm plus it's guide. Hope that will further improve the start off and kid range. Mivv muffler is just like another after market muffler I.e akrapovic...

    Backroad Touring

Jaimec, I do agree perhaps my definition here is like yours - paved but just off the beaten path. Wish the Honda adventure type will hit market soon at my place. The look is so appealing to me.

    Backroad Touring

Hi guys! It seems that CVT type is just as it is and not meant for rough riding. Nevertheless, scooter still can take rough ride with proper techniques but couldn't expect it to behave exactly like DP/adv bike. All these somehow suggest to me personally that i need proper bike for the type of...

    Exhaust Mod?

I have been running my scoot with cat out and mivv muffler. I put on the malossi header instead without cutting out the cat. So far it slightly improves during take off up to mid range. No backfire noticed so far. Top speed still remains plus improving the bike weight but not too significant. I...

    Backroad Touring

Hi everyone! This is to share views on my experience as C series owner. Basically, I come from sport bike and adventure/dual purpose bike for few years before enjoying my C600 sport since 2014. My reason to change was just getting bored to engage clutch and gear manually. For two years I really...

    Best variator

Dear friends! Thanks for the views. I also have a sportbike and I know no matter what mods I put on, scooter will stay as it be and it is no match to sportbike. But if get quarter or half of what my sportbike does on my c600, that would be enough :). Anyway, look like jcosta is also a good...

    squeaky noise

Hi guys! Just keeping the update on the squeaky noise on my bike as I did 2,000 miles ride last week. Still the noise was noticeable especially when the bike start to at 1-2k rpm but wouldn't affect the ride all the way. As Wsteele suggests, "I'm going to wait for another year and bitch about it...

    squeaky noise

Hi all! Last week I have my c600 inspected at the dealer for the squeaking noise. They took 3 days to fix it and said the noise came from CVT belting. I am not sure whether they were telling the truth because if belting-related problem, that would take hours to fix instead of 3 days. So far, I...

    squeaky noise

Hi everyone! Mine also got the squeaking sound after 6 month of riding for almost 5000km. Surpringly, this only happened after the dealer replaced the timing chain tensioner during the first interval service 3 months back. Any ideas/advices on this? Thanks

    Water in flex case C600Sport

Francois! I have been riding in heavy rain few times but found no water sipped in inside the flex case. Perhaps your seat is not properly closed or the rubber which coils around for the underseat has been tempered. Just my 1 cent opinion.

Hi guys! Just to get enlightenment on my 600 miles services which I've done it today. As usual the service covers few jobs and one of those is OELANSAUGROH replacement. The dealer told me that it is a motor oil sprain but I am still in the dark how does this thing work out. Appreciate anyone to...

    Timing Chain Tensioner Recall

Hi guys! I've just done my 600 miles service with the chain tensioner replaced 2 weeks before. So far, I do notice differences in engine revving, better acceleration and big smile all the way. But that only covers 50km ride. Will keep you updated on how does this scooter do for long distance...

    Recall in the U.S. "Official"?

Btw if I happen to ride for long distance ranging from 500-800 miles per day, would that be risky? I'm afraid my dealer would take time longer than 3 weeks time to get the chain tensioner replaced. Appreciate advise. Thanks
