    As a follow up note guys I have just had the bike serviced and asked for the chain oil to be changed for the second time mileage this time is 4500 miles the tech showed me the oil which was a dirty black so I don't know weather this to do with the UK climate but I will be having this oil change...

    Received my recall notice today 2012 GT650 with 4700 miles on her not noticed any strange noises but will be glad to get it done after reading some of the reports around the world.

    Rear Drive Oil Change Interval

    I had the oil in the chain case changed at 1500 miles and it was in a shocking state the mechanic who did it said the oil gets initially contaminated from the new chain grease etc., my advice guys get it changed looked easy from what I saw just the cost of the fully synth oil.
