2016 C650GT Highline package for sale in NorthEastern California

So, I got myself a 2016 R1200RT, and I can’t really justify two bikes. My C650GT is all pimped out with the highline packge and probably close to $3000 worth of added items. The bike has < 5K miles and is all ready for the season. I am located 4 hours away from Sacramento and 1.5 hours from...

    Larger windscreen for C650GT

I’m 5’8, and never really had any complaints with the stock screen on the C650GT. However, with my recent acquisition of a 2016 R1200RT, I thought that the stock windscreen sucked. That, I replaced with the Aeroflow medium, and it’s so much better than the stock

How many of you ride both your scooter and a motorcycle?

Well, I now have the 2016 C650GT and the added 2016 R1200RT. The scooter is almost as large as the RT. For me, the RT obviously has shifting, and a lot more throttle. Coming to a stop in traffic on the scooter is a no brainer, however with any motorcycle there’s downshifting. Braking isn’t...

    Big sister in the house!

Well I went all cabin fever over this last Winter and bought a 2016 RT with only 5K miles on it. It already had the Iluim front crash bars with highway pegs. The bike got delivered last month, bought it from a BMW dealer in Texas. Since then, I added the Aeroflow windscreen and a Givi Dolomiti...

Has anyone added something like running lights for visibility?

I second the Clearwater Darla’s! Running with the yellow filters during the day are a great safety feature to be that much more visible! Riding at night the extra illumination, especially peripheral, is outstanding.

Hey, when the weather rolls into spring and summer, head up to my neck of the woods... lots of great rides with minimal traffic! The ride through Lassen Park is nice too!

Photo of my C650GT in BMW MOA Magazine

Well Des Moines isn’t a fur peace away from the Windy City, but it would be a multi day ride for me. I’ve got my sites on NorthEastern Oregon, Idaho, and maybe Montana. I spent my childhood growing up in Northwestern Illinois, and I don’t plan on being back soon...

Congratulations! It’s about time those snobs showed some Scooter Love! That magazine makes me feel like if you don’t ride a GS or an RT you’re invisible. I’ve sent some pictures in too, but am yet to be published :) Spring is almost around the corner.... I’m planning on lots of rides...

    Clearwater Darla LED lights

I would say that these are one of the best safety investment upgrades that you can add to the bike. Running with these on during the day with the yellow filters in place just makes you that much more visible to our friends in 4 wheeled conveyances. Then, at night time, it’s a night and day...

2016 GT with 1,600 miles, top case, Nav V for $7,500 - worth it?

Yeah, I second the good deal! Let me know if this dealer has any similar deals on an R1200RT! Good luck! Lee

    ASC, on or off?

Greetings scooter heads! Since I am going on year 2 with my 2016 C650GT, I was wondering if any of you ride your bike with the ASC off. If you do ride with the ASC off, any noticeable differences in handling? Thanks in advance, Lee

Hungry dingos or goannas? :D Sorry...I couldn’t resist... Sounds like something maybe wasn’t tightened enough and maybe a vibrating resonance loosened it????
