Maybe next time Steve! Would be fun to have a BMW rider partner.
Apparently the only C650GT at this event was mine. Trust me, I was rooting to find another. But no luck. Parked it right outside the front door of the Hurricane Dockside Grill (among numerous Harleys) as a dinner stop, and I took great delight seeing all the attention this BMW was getting from the non-riders! Seemed to be the only machine that stood out.
Before I could even put the helmet away, I was having to explain “Yes … BMW does indeed make cycles and yes ... it can go fast!”
