So have you ridden the bike yet I'm thinking of a new shield but I'm on the fence about it I'm 5' 10 and the shield on the bike isn't bad but not great and as the winter gets closer which could be Sept here in VT.

I checked the UPS tracking ticket. The shield is currently in their Secaucus (NJ) facility and SHOULD be delivered some time tomorrow. Can't wait!!

I received my Aeroflew windshield last night and I used it today. What a nice windshield! Although the size (standard size one) is not much wider or taller than the stock windshield, the little difference in the shape and the width makes the air flow much smoother. I used to raise the windshield all the way up to be able to hear my music and talk on the phone but the windshield would block the wind from cooling my head down in the helmet. Now I can have the windshield down or raised just a little with the same effect and still get air in my helmet vents. I can't imagine what the tall Aeroflow windshield would do. I recommend this windshield to anyone!

One of the few exceptions to "Murphy's Law," this really was as easy to mount as it looked! Haven't ridden it yet. I'll wait till tonight when I go to my club meeting.

You guys with the GT get all the good stuff. Im heading down to the dealer to make some measurements. I want a new screen as well.

I thought that I saw an email from my dealer about 1000.00 offer on the c6sport (2 months after I signed on the dotted line) ...are they really not selling that well compared to the GT?

I do wish I had that (Aeroflow) windscreen for my trip to Indianapolis last month. What a difference! All the way up, no back pressure and blessed silence! Also much smoother (less turbulent) airflow with it in any of the lower positions. I thought the stock windshield was a vast improvement over the windshield that came with my old TMAX. The Aeroflow makes the stocker look as bad as the TMAX shield.

Rode with it in the rain for the first time today. Not as effective as the Aeroflow windscreen on my K1200LT, but still a whole lot better than stock. What I don't understand, is that BMW has one of the largest wind tunnel facilities in Europe. Why in hell can't they come up with a DECENT windshield for their bikes???
