Changing out the rear shock...

1st post here, so...hello all!

Looking to change out my rear shock, wondering how complicated it is. Looks pretty simple but wondering if anyone here has done it? Want to stick a Wilbers in to improve the ride a little.

Thanks!

Sorry guys, I just checked the service manual (which I definitely paid for ) and it is indeed a piece of cake!

Impressive -- I haven't seen anybody wanting to try that particular mod. There should be a prize or something! ;)

I didn't see an Ohlins model for the scooter, but I haven't looked in awhile either. It was the best investment I made for my 1999 K1200LT though. Instead of replacing the stock shocks every 24,000 miles (for a cost of over $2K each time), I get the Ohlins rebuilt for a few hundred dollars each time. Over the course of 192,000 miles, that's a LOT of money saved!
