clean windshield

hello everybody, and thanks in advance for your support !.
I apologize myself for this stupid question, but is something that is disturbing me a lot.
I'm a really fan of my bike. each time I use it, before starting my ride I wash it with water. the problem is, I can't figure out how to clean the windshield between the glass and the dashboard (the U black plastic support). a lot of water drops remains there, and all the bike is perfectly clean, except the inner windshield. I want to know: any technics about clean the windshield (lower inner part)? any special tool for this task? any suggestions? pictures and data of any special tool will be very useful. thanks in advance,

Perhaps I misunderstand...maybe snap a picture of the area in question as it's not clear to me.

yes, the water drops in the windshield (inside part) between the black plastic piece and the windshield.
Can you blow it out with compressed air? I don't think a rag will fit in there, correct?

Maybe compressed air in a can like for computers?

You have to remove the screen. That's what I do.

I use once folded paper towel and a bamboo skewer, be gentle.
Twice a year the windshield gets detailed while removed (only four torx screws) from the bike.

It's funny because I saw this cleaning the windshield question a while ago without really understanding it because to me it was only a matter of putting the windshield in the upper position... but yesterday while cleaning mine I got it and said to myself "that's what he meant!".

MMR of SAT, I had heard paper towel could scratch the plastics so my solution is to use a microfiber cloth (which I use for all the shiny plastics), it easily goes inside the small space available to clean this part of the windshield!

I would think that some distilled water in a spritzer bottle set on stream would do well for you, followed by the micro-fiber as others posted.
It's spigot water that's going to leave water-spots.

I don't know if this is what you have in mind, but we bought a pet grooming dryer a while back. It scared the hell out of our dogs but it sure works well for drying the scooter. Between the high velocity and heat (if needed), it pretty well blows the water out of that area as well as the rest of the bike. 1590449355094.png
