Hello, everyone: As a new member, I really appreciate the existence of this site. I have a 2015 c650GT, a month ago at around 4000 miles it developed a strong vibration between 5-10 mph accompanied with a metal screeching sound. The vibration seems to come from the chain drive compartment (rear).It only does it between 5-10 mph , once it is over 10 mph, bike drives great with no problem. Also, it often happens only during cold start (in the morning after garaged it for overnight or extended period of time). The vibration tend to disappear as the scooter gets driven during the day. Took it to the dealership, they replaced the roller, roller housing, and guide as instructed by BMW after 4 weeks under warranty. The second day after getting it back, it did the exactly the same thing again. At this time the dealership is clueless on what is going on. Can anyone help please, losing summer driving time up here in New England! Thank you all! God bless!

Sorry to hear of your problem, it appears that no one here has had one like it. Keep going to the dealer about it, since it started when the bike was under warranty it should still be even after the three year period elapses since your dealer hasn't fixed it yet. Might be worth taking to a different dealer if you have one near enough.
thank you! I do still have the full warranty until 11/2019. It just bothers me that something mechanically the bike is imperfect. BMW trying to tell me it is normal. BS!

It may be the clutch shoes are glazed. Do you accelerate hard or softly from stops? One issue I get from whet I've read is that slow acceleration from stops may cause the clutch to slip a lot and glaze the shoes. This glazing causes slipping, like a film of oil, so the clutch slips and grabs as you accelerate until it gets more momentum and more centrifugal force pushing the shoes against the bell housing, this causes a vibration or grabbing feel.
From my experience this was sometimes an issue with Honda's I've owned, both the Reflex and the Silverwing. I've also experienced it on the BMW after certain rides, usually very long rides. If this is the case you can correct it with a procedure like a brake torque on a car. Holding brakes in, raise the engine RPM's for a few seconds to allow the clutch shoes to wear off the glazing. If you Google scooter clutch glazing or similar you should find some threads on it. Or see this thread on ADV Riders forum:

I have done extensive research on various of reasons that can cause vibration at 10mph. Clutch was one, so I had dealer check it. They told me everything is fine. That is when they became clueless on the issue. BMW headquarter again tried to blow me off by saying this is normal. Absolutely BS. I had the service manager at MAX BMW request a representative to come to check the bike it self. Hopefully they comply soon. Thanks again for the help!

Considering the speed it occurs in it would seem logical it’s only the clutch since it appears after it grabs it’s fine.
Just as a precaution it could be something almost frozen like a bearing which initially drags until it gets spinning.
Put it on the stand and free spin the back wheel by hand to see if it turns freely and listen to the chain noise. Check the brakes are not dragging as well.
I had a simular problem with a whine every time I slow down driving me nuts. The only thing the dealer did is some moron dragged his filthy boots across my tunnel and scratched my new bikes panels.
What’s the damn deal the jerks swing there leg over every bike to get on but as soon as they see a scooter that means the dumb asses can now drag their boot on the panels and seat. When I mentioned it to them there was not one word of being sorry.
