Do you wear protective gears?

I always wear helmet because it is required by law. However I prefer not to if only allowed. I hate to use protective gears like gloves, knee pad, armor or thick jacket, I feel that my movements are restricted. Do you prefer to wear protective gears or just skin and balls?

There are two types of riders those that have gone down and those that will. I hope you like road pizza
There are also dumb asses and smart asses you must fall under the first category

Seriously. Your movements are restricted? What are you doing, dancing on the scooter? I wear full gear (except armored pants when commuting to work, though I should) and it is not restrictive in any way whatsoever.

Always wear a helmet and gloves. Almost always wear a jacket with armor--the only times I haven't is when the temps and humidity are too high for an armored mesh jacket. Sometimes I wear armored over pants... usually in the winter (year around rider) and when touring but in beautiful weather I often forgo the pants for my daily work commute.

I always wear a helmet. I want to be on the safe side and you can never predict what can happen. Plus I don't want to get a ticket as it's required by law to wear one. Regardless safety is important and my health comes first before anything. I enjoy riding my scooter but I enjoy being safe as well. I hear about so many accidents and individuals were not wearing any protection. We have to be adults about this and protect ourselves when we are riding.

I have been riding since 1963 and I have always worn a helmet. The helmet has saved my noggin serval times. I wear heavy double lined pants. I have four different jackets I wear depending on the weather. I also have two sets of gloves. Hot weather gloves and cold weather gloves. I always wear boots.

No matter what I always make sure to wear a helmet. Would be nice to get one with neck protection.

I also like to put on gloves and to have my body covered.

Helmet is a must for me even if I just travel short distances. If I am going to take long rides like having some kind of group rides, I will definitely wear all of my gears. It's better to be careful and limited for your safety rather than riding carelessly. Life is important! We only got one!
