Last fall, at about the end of my riding season, I put up a video of my third (and probably final) top-speed test run on the C 400 GT that I took delivery of in June 2022.
This was on a long downhill run, with a GoPro Hero9 Black capturing the bike's speed with its 18Hz GPS chip and recording the tach display at the same time:
This morning, a comment appeared for that video, which reads as follows:
Hi, We are dr.pulley , we have BMW C400GT/X CVT product and want you to test review, please reply us , thanks
I have no idea whether that comment is really from the Dr. Pulley folks -- see, e.g., https://drpulley.co/ -- or what. Clicking on the icon next to that comment took me to a YouTube site -- https://www.youtube.com/@user-ld9yn7ud6j/featured -- that hardly looks like it's part of a major CVT aftermarket outfit. So I don't really know.
I replied that, for a couple of reasons, I wasn't interested in that offer. However, if some of you C 400 owners are interested in altering your scoots, you might want to contact them, and maybe get some free goodies to try out.
Just reporting ...
