Dr Pulley rollers

I can't speak on how long they'll last, mine have only been in for about 14,000 miles. I believe the weight I used was 28gr.; a slight help from stopped, great mid range and a better top end without much loss of fuel economy. I gathered all my parts and tools, new belt, grease the Dr Puller rollers, brake parts and fluids and took care of it all at once, so I went from stock needing maintenance to new tires, brakes, belt, rollers, fluids flushed (brake and coolant), everything except the spark plugs, did those with the Idle air hoses. I can say I saw no noticeable wear while I was going through those cheap belts (2 belts in a little less than 5,000 miles) before I ordered the Mitsuboshi from Carpimoto. My gut tells me they should last 40 - 50,000 miles (clean them good when the belts are replaced).

"Dr. Pulley Rollers ... what is the ideal weight to use?"

On the 2013 GT I sold recently, I replaced OEM rollers with Dr. Pulley 28-gram sliders and variator pieces and experienced exactly what Pappy described: "A slight help from stopped, great mid-range and a better top end without much loss of fuel economy."

Gen 1.0 GT's (2012-2015) are noticeably slower off the line; BMW improved that for 2016+ models. I am presently debating whether to buy 28-gram sliders for the 2015 GT I just acquired, or wait until I change the CVT belt at 12,000 miles (which will probably be 15,000 miles based on experience with previous GT belts).

How long do the Dr. Pulley Rollers last in the C 650 GT and what is the ideal weight to use?
They'll last longer than you own the bike, I suspect, based on the anecdotes from long-term scooter owners on sites like ModernVespa.com.

28 Grams are what I installed in my 2014 Sport, and my experience of the bike's performance matches that of @Delray and @Pappy13 -- more oomph off the line, faster to highway speeds, and *maybe* 1-2 MPG worst fuel economy overall.

Don't forget the sliding pieces (SP3020-AH) to go with the sliders.

G'luck!
