Dr. Pulley Sliders - Online store info

Heads up on where to buy Dr. Pulley Sliders . I bought my set from Buggy Parts in Utah & recently emailed them about sliders not in stock since the beginning of 2022 for the BMW C650GT . They no longer sell the sliders due to supply restrictions from Dr. Pulley factory. Resellers have to order large amounts of the sliders or Dr. Pulley won't ship them. Doesn't make sense to the reseller to buy a large amount & variety of items that doesn't sell quickly. Stock turnover is very slow for them
I noticed you can buy online directly from Dr. Pulley in Taiwan. This a new to me since they never had a online store before this year. Cost is about $20 more than usual due to higher shipping costs from Taiwan . Typical set with 8 sliders & guides will cost $120 total (with shipping) I went with the 28 Gram sliders to get better response from a stop. Really worth the performance upgrade in my opinion.

Here's the Dr. Pulley website if you want to order sliders: https://drpulley.co/product-category/sliding-roller-weight/

Slider Part #: SR3020R-8 (pick gram weight )
Guides Part #: SP-AH (Slide Piece AH)
Other slide # is SP-AE .

I used AH on my 2015 C650 GT . Fit perfect . Most of the BMW's use the AH version

Should order both parts , sliders & guides, for best results

Awesome!

Any updates with the new sliders? You still happy with the 28grams?

Did you install yourself? Did you follow a video?

thx 🙏

My fellow South Floridian ....

I installed 28 gram Dr. Pulley sliders, the insert pieces and a Mitsuboshi belt on a previous GT. The Dr. Pulley sliders really improved pick up and mid-range performance. I'd highly recommend them. Pretty easy job. The BMW service and repair DVD has detailed instructions. I have a pdf from the service manual. DM me an email address if you'd like it and I will send. There are helpful YouTube videos, too. A few are in languages I don't understand but visually you see what's going on.

My 2019 C 650 GT is now at 11,700 miles and due for a new belt at 12,000. Based on a visual inspection of the belt last summer (pretty much like new), I will wait until 15,000 miles to install a new belt and the Dr. Pulley stuff. I have a feeling I could easily go to 20k miles on the belt but I am eager to get the Dr. Pulley sliders in there.

Merry Christmas to all!
