Duplicate key?

Has anyone had a duplicate key made? Purhcased c600 used with only one key and would like a duplicate. Thinking it might have a chip or digital thing since it is a bmw! Thanks

For my C650Gt had to go to dealer, as I recall there is a chip, need to prove ownership to get. Took a couple weeks and seemed to be just under $100. I’d have to search for the Invoice. Was about 3 years ago.

Yep, correct! had same experience about 5 month ago, albeit in Australia. $85.00 once I could prove ownership.
