First long ride 50 miles

Enjoyed my first long ride on the scooter. Did a brief 30 to 45 minute stop at a branch of my local bank...they offer free charging and snacks lol. Charged at 8A. Just to be safe and ensure could get back home. Hit 70mph just for a second to see how she felt. Indeed speed kills...the range lol.

Very smooth ride thu do want to check my rear shock setting and will see want the manual says for weight adjustment.

Enjoyable ride though for certain this gen 1 model is limited when it comes to distance when going say over 45mpg i figure yet realize most of us do short travels many times so will be a good around town ride.

Am OK with the bmw trunk that can expand taller, added puig top clip-on screen to my taller bmw screen,. Used a 3/4 helment plus full face sheild and sort of like the air flow setup, no helment buffing going on.

Added the bmw side bag, sadly no way to lock the bag in place, then again a knife would allow access to anything in side bag anyway. I put a camera shoulder kit bag in there and it fits perfectly...I just use it for crap I carry...not camera things. On a side note, do wonder if there are good small digital cameras better then the current iPhones yet not too expensive to buy. Might be nice to play in that world a bit.

The air hawk seat imstalled helps transverse the seat hump my model bike came with.

As mentioned in a different post, I can actually rest my back against the front of the trunk to a degree. An unexpected back rest when riding and will be better once I add the bmw trunk front padding kit items.

Did a few charges once back home at my bank; 33% to 66 then again 66 to 96. Don't know if it helps/hurts to top it off to 100% via wall plug at home.

Have yet to explore how many watts(?) are needed to charge this ride...guessing power cost is small even if charging at home most times be it during the day or night and say starting at 10% left on battery thu thinking charging once down to 20% might be better for battery health. Need to go back and check prior posting the guy in NC did, great info there.

Ride safe and ps, i did ride with an airbag vest.
