Has anyone tried the Ohlins rear shock?

They are available but I can't find any review or comments online.

You have a part number? I can't find any reference to an Ohlins shock for our scooters on their website. Best investment I ever made for my K1200LT was replacing the stock "throw-away" Showas for a pair of rebuildable Ohlins...

Most definitely. On the K1200LT, the stock front shock is not adjustable. The replacement Ohlins is fully adjustable. Generally when you order the shocks, you'll be asked your height and weight and for an honest appraisal of how you ride. The shock will be delivered with that in mind so you probably won't need to adjust it either. They do the same every time you get them rebuilt, too. I get mine rebuilt every 24K miles and that seems about right.

Adjustability won't help you in the front when the struts are buried under the scooter bodywork. Racetech will custom build them for you based upon weight, riding style, etc., with a dual-valve system and progressive springs. The way to go.

i haven't found anyone making either replacement forks, or springs/seals for the C600. Ohlins and Wilbers look good for the rear but stuck for options up front :(

The gentleman from Wilbers USA mentioned the stock fork oil is 7.5 weight so changing that out for a 5 weight would soften the fork action up some. Anyone tried this before? I'd do it in a heartbeat for my R/C Cars but not so sure about this...

I’m wondering this, too, SpeedToys. In poorly maintained city streets, I bottom out frequently. Debating whether to try to Wilbers (https://www.beemershop.com/product/...l-pre-load-adjustments-c600-sport-c650gt.html) $670 option, but I can’t find any Ohlins that are known to fit, but this is known to fit the 600 Sport (S46dr1 bm600) which I also can’t find for sale anymore. I may ask my local BMW dealership about using a thicker oil or more oil in the front suspension, where I feel it the most.
