Have you ever crashed?

I have crashed about two times.

It came from a malfunction and I am trying to get it fixed.

What about you guys?

Amazing none of the following were my fault

In 1986 I wedged a bike under a truck. I was off work for 8 weeks. (bike was a right off)
Slide a bike in North Carolina about 100 feet at 70 mph (brused a rib) rode the bike home 1000 miles two days later
Hit a pick-up truck broad side in Nova Scotia and rode the bike home 1000 miles (i saw it coming and had the brakes clamped on) the bike was written off but I still rode the bike for 80000 more miles.

Remember there are 2 kinds of riders, the ones that have gone down and the ones that will go down.

Not actually a crashed, I just stumbled. Good thing I was running slow and jump off my scooter. My scooter never crashed it was just circling the gravel. I dont know why theres a gravel on the road and it was thick and was evenly spread out on that portion of the road. I was looking for any undergoing construction near that area but cant seem to find out. I dont know what the heck is the problem of whoever puts those gravels there.

Thankfully, I have not experienced some crashing yet. I always pray and hope to not experience that.

I, however, stumbled one time. Good thing that it was only within the vilalge. I was actually looking at the new house that was newly built in our village and I was admiring it a lot. My eyes were focused on it and I did not see the ball that was coming my way. The boys were playing "catch ball" and the ball went in the street. I hit the ball, and I stumbled. Only that, good thing. Good also that it was only a ball and not the kid/kids playing with it.

I know my friend crashed and broke his wrist. It was pretty crazy because he didn't know until I pointed it out when we was at his house watching the game. The bone was like bulging out!

You have to watch the loose stuff. I don't know how the GT is, but I have a Majesty that I went down on twice. The first was turning into my road at night. I knew there was an accumulation there, but wasn't thinking. I was fine except a small scape on the arm, but the scoot took some scratches. The second was late winter/early spring after the first drop, again turning right onto a road.

I believe I caught some cinders that hadn't washed away and hit the gas too early in the turn. That time I hit hard breaking the shield and a rib. It took a good couple months for the pain to go away. Had some bike damage, but nothing that couldn't be covered up. Needless to say, I learned to watch for the loose stuff and watch gassing into the turn.

I also have a Burgie Exec that seems a lot less effected by loose gravel.
