Have you had to have your BMW scooter ever towed in?

BMW had to pick up my C650GT at my house this morning to bring to the dealer to get it fixed (Just 31 miles on the odometer). Hadn't ridden in two weeks because of the weather. Went out to ride it last night and the EWS! warning came on the readout. Manual says it's the Engine's Electronic Immobilizer:

Manual states:
"The key being used is not authorized for starting, or communication between the key and engine electronics is disrupted." Turns out their service database already listed it as a problem. Only fix was to tow it in to the dealer and reprogram the keys.

Have you had to have your scoot towed in?

I had mine towed in 2 weeks after purchase.
I had parked in the open for two days, and both days it rained non-stop.
On the 3rd day, started up the bike, and my signal toggle and hazard light switches didn't work. Pressed the Trip info switch, and it got stuck in there. The pillion seat heater switch didn't work, too.
Then I tried to kill the engine by flicking the cut-off switch... It cut the engine off, but as long as I held on to either of my brakes, it would just start right up again. Only way to turn the engine off was by turning the key. When I turned the ignition on again and was holding on to a brake, it would just start up automatically.
I got annoyed, had it towed. Dealership changed all the switches for free. Everything's working great now.
