I've bought (2 sets) of the factory rear wheel decals, but have not been able to install cleanly. The decals pucker at the outer circumference and no matter how I try to smooth them for a clean installation, Including use of the soap/water installation technique, I just can't get a c;ean installation, have thrown put 2 sets.

advice, suggestions, video maybe, please!

many thanls

Are you installing with the wheel still on the bike? I would definitely take it off to make sure i could put even presure on it.

Lay them out on a flat surface then check the diameter to see if it matches the wheel where you are applying them.

Layherdown. lol. Put a towel or cardboard next to the bike and lay it on its side. It will give you a better angle than 90 degrees.

Edit: For clarity I mean on the 45 degree slope on the sides of the battery, not completely on its side. I had a low speed screw up when I first got the bike and had to gently lay it down on the side and it was fine.

Surely can't be worth having a decal if you have to remove the wheel. I'm sure they be applied with the wheel on. Sounds like you don't have enough water on the decal to place it correctly.
