Just another beautiful ride in South Texas

I live in North West San Antonio, and after work today, I decided to take a quick ride on my 2017 C650GT. The weather was just beautiful at about 70 degrees and little wind. I did about 30 miles and I just want to say what a wonderful bike this thing is. I'm doing 70 (normal speed for around here) and the bike has no issue with maintaining that speed, and also accelerating even uphill when necessary. Understandably, everyone has an opinion on what their favorite bike is, and I'm not here to change any of that - but if you are wondering if a scooter can be a lot of fun in town and on the highway, then the C650GT is a great option. James, I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have ridden everything you can ride, from a Harley, to a Duc, dirt, street, and I absolutely LOVE my C650 GT 2020 that I just bought in July with 354 miles. It's the most fun I've had on two wheels in a long time. My RT 1250 just sits there, dying of jealousy. My wife (who was originally against the purchase) has turned 180 degrees and loves it too. I get stopped by people all the time and told that they never knew BMW made a scooter. They're jealous too. A great ride indeed!

YES it is a GREAT BIKE i was 59 N from Rosenburg Tx. n a motorcycle had been following me
on 36 n. from Pleak Tx. Anyway i get on 59 n i crank it open to 70 MPH FAST left that other
bike behind me. I let him catch up he passed me NO big deal cause i had MORE power then
his bike. I let him go ahead cuz a semi was right beside him. Right after he got past the
Semi i opened it up past that biker doing 100 mph. I hit 110 MPH n smooth sailing.
The guy wanted to see how FAST a BMW C 650 GT could go. I blew him away. TRUE STORY.

I'm late for this post. I live in Grand Prairie and have a 2019 C650GT. I went from a 2014 Streetglide and I ain't looked back since.
My Harley buds tease me about a scooter and I tell them, "it will do everything yours will except make a lot of noise, rattle, and
leak oil."
