Key Froze in Scoot!

rode home in a freezing rain last friday night, left the keys in the scoot as i always do in the garage, and couldn't get it to turn this morning! last night was around 7 degrees, and was 9 this morning when i left for work (i'm not toooo brave........i only live about 1.5 miles from my office). tap-tap-tap-tap (hard), was finally able to pop the key out. WD-40'd it up good, back in it goes, can now even push the cylinder down to unlatch the seat. i've ridden in some cold stuff (minus 7 is my record), but have never had a key freeze in. but, i guess the rain ahead of the big cool-down was unusual, too. just an fyi.
dreamin' of summer..................

just got the EWS! warning tonight, no start at all. turned it off and back on and bam, over she turns.
i have a mobil speedpass and my office key on the ring, will have to keep an eye on this happening again, and will probably have to remove them. kind of a real pain to keep the ignition key separate, so i'll wait and see.
