A quick update from CalSci on their windshield for the C650GT. Thought this might help someone considering their product. This is my back and forth comm with them recently regarding my 15 C650GT:

I'm potentially interested in a shield for my 2015 MY scooter but reading owner reports of some problems with mounting hole locations since BMW changed the bikes in 2016. At least one owner said he reported the problem but ended up drilling out his shield to make it work. I would like to purchase knowing that the mount location issue has been resolved. Do you make two versions of the shield? 12-15 and then 16 onward? I understand my 2015 model is right on the cusp of the changes but I don't know enough about what the manufacturer did to update to know the specs. Thank you in advance before any purchase.

We have not revised the shield for 2016 and do not intend to. We have had a lot of difficulty getting shields to mount due to variations in the mounting hardware. We don't sell very many of this shield and it isn't worth it to fine tune each variant of the bike. We only sell the one shield, which mostly fits all of them, but sometimes is off by 1/8th of an inch or so. If you have a rotary hand tool (dremel) you can easily modify the shield to fit your bike.
