So the electric motorcycle bug has hit me very hard and I find my self riding my very loved BMW less and less. In the next couple of weeks I will get some pics and put it in the for sale section. This is more or less saying bye I suppose. Have loved it here and at some point in the future will be back I am sure. Thanks for all the help over my short stop on this forum.

Bike has about 2200 miles and purrs like a kitten. All recalls have been taken care of and up to date. Michelin Pilot sport tires with around 1000 miles on them. Very tall Vstream screen. New battery..about a year old. Dr. pulley 28 gram pucks and guides. Battery tender hookup. Plug with 2 usb ports under the handlebar emblem. Not a scratch or mark on the bike. I am looking at right around $6800 from what I have seen on cycletrader. If you or anyone you know is interested...hit me up.

"Plug ins under the BMW emblem" ... does the emblem pop open, like a gas cap?

I'm 100% sure your GT is in showroom shape. Any buyer will be getting a good deal.

Did you buy an electric bike?

The socket under the emblem in the handlebars...Used a proper BMW end to wire in 2 usb ports.

Yes...Bought a Zero SRS about 4 months ago. And after seeing this at CES put a deposit down on one of these...

Dang, 200 mile range! Zero to 60 in 3 seconds! Those are impressive numbers. As is $39,995 (gulp).

I give them full credit for great copywriting, and I say that as an ad agency professional. "The electric bike that recharges you" is a first-rate line. And you can't take a much stronger brand position than, "The smartest, safest, all-electric sportbike in the world."

Honestly, I probably wouldn't ride one for free. Absolutely must have my feet forward and be able to extend my legs fully. Plus, where's the storage? How do I get the wind tunnel blast off my face? Is there a glove box for my sunglasses? Does it have a live readout of tire pressure? Are the grips and seat heated when Florida has bone-chilling, life-threatening temps in the low 50's?

Seriously, I love seeing progress in electric bikes. It's exciting to think I'll ultimately find one that's perfect for me.
