It's a redesign of the basic JCosta configuration. BUT, the sliding weights are a much tougher material, and the ends which push against the variator bell are curved to MATCH the bell curve, unlike JCosta weights which are just a circular, round end, which wears and flat-spots quickly.
Reviews have been really good! And, unlike the JCosta, you won't ride around close to redline all the time...
