Should be an owner of a 2016 C650 gt as soon as the seller gets the replacement title. Very excited.

Went from an 85 K100 to an e-bike now this. I'm 57 and just love to ride. The wife is a raging sociopath, Daughter is 21-year old Autistic and needs supervision 100% of the time. So I am figuring I can just jump on and squeeze in a 20 minute or an hour ride here and there without upsetting the apple cart much. Mostly around my small river town, occasionally to work one town away. A few small breaks from life to just focus on the wind and the road is all I really need to sustain a good attitude. I also care for my father who is about 15 miles away on a river road so I expect the scooter ride to make that at least a little more fun.

I work on the Railroad, over the road conductor, and travel back and forth between Iowa and Chicago. I may take the scooter to my home terminal occasionally about a 40-mile interstate ride round trip.

The K100 was fun and fast as heck, but it was over 20 years old and kept breaking down (the brake fluid reservoir just disintegrated in my hands one day). The E-bike was fun just 30 or 35 mph and only a 40-mile range. Just couldn't tickle the right spot. The motor is burned up currently.

There really is no big city driving around here, mostly towns less than 2 or 3k. Lots of fun, some scenic secondary paved roads. Which is fine with me, Wont really have a lot of free time.

I am really excited about this venture into Maxi scooters. My dad had a Silverwing while he was still able to ride. That was a blast.

Man, this is so true.

I feel more alive riding than any other time. The act of riding (safely) demands that you stay in the moment, zeroed in on your balance and the wind and the road and traffic.

Vacations do the same thing: lock you in the moment. You won't remember most days at the office. But you'll remember that trip to ... (whatever cool place you visited).
