OBD2 Connector

I have a C650 but I am helping a friend sell his C400x. We need to reset the service reminder so I would just like to confirm that the OBD connector is in the battery compartment located forward of the fuel filler cap. Can't seem to find any technical details on the web.

I have a 2022 C400GT and the OBD connector is behind the battery cover. Not sure if this will help but here's some info.

with what kind of tool are you resetting this?
is it a specific bmw tool or can a generic obd tool also read out fault codes?

i found you need a unicarscan ucsi 2100 obd connector and install the motoscantool app on google playstore.
unclear is you can reset it with the lite (free) version of the app or need to upgrade to the paying version (still cheaper then going to the stealership ;-)

Going through utube vidios on serviceing bmws it looks like you need the paid for version of the obd softwae to actually do anything,reset wise, the free is just to get a looksee maybe
