side bars protectors

hello everybody, and thanks in advance for your suggestions.
I really want to add 2 additional led headlamp (front fog lights), for security reasons (I think the most you are seen, the most secure you are).
problem is, I've try everything and I can't find any place to put the headlamps that's really like me. I've read carefully all the posts here with pictures of different installations, and nothing really like me.
searching in internet, I've found some pictures of C400X fog lights mounted under some side protections bars.
I'm attaching here the pictures that I already found, does anybody see something like this for the C650GT second generation? some accessory that I can buy? where? pictures? all information will be useful.
thanks in advance,

Mine had some but I wanted to add some more with them blinking with the turn lights! Did you ever hook yours up?
Clearwater has a "fender" mount for its Darla lights for the C 6xx series, if you're interested. Expensive, but apparently ready to mount, no extra bars necessary; see the pics at:

I'm looking into those for my C 400 GT (www.clearwaterlights.com/products/darla-c400x).

I have the Clearwater Darla lights on my 2013 C650GT and appreciate the added visibility. Because the CanBus system on my bike is not compatible with the Clearwater “Can Opener,” my install is not “plug and play” as on other BMW’s. The lights come on when the bike is started and go off when the engine is cut off. I’m able to adjust the intensity of the lights but I find that for me, I will seldom use the feature. While the lights are well made and definitely attention getters, especially with the amber covers, keeping the lights horizontal and tight on the fender is a chore and I’ve not found the right combination of lock washers to keep them stable. Bumps in the road or just nudging them with your leg can change the tilt angle. If I’m not mistaken, Clearwater is running a sale but I saw that a few days ago and it may have changed.

Jim, thanks much for the info.

I think you have convinced me to go only with the Skene LED pods up front. This won't be plug-and-play, either, so I think I'm going to wait for the spring warmer weather (my garage is not really heated much) to take off the front tupperware and do this work.

The Skene pods are pretty bright -- I have their rear ones on -- and weigh much, much, less than the Darlas. I want some added conspicuity to the front (like the amber covers on the Darla), but I'm not really interested in adding lighting; I long ago stopped riding at night. But that's me -- of course other folks have different requirements.

Like you, I don’t ride at night and even riding in the daytime here in rural Virginia is scary! I didn’t want my experience with the Darla lights to sound too negative but the way they are installed on the fender is less than ideal. I think there are others on the forum who have expressed similar concerns. I’ll be interested in seeing the results of the Skene pods installation when you’re able to do that.
