Slipstream Warp

Had slipstreams installed when I took delivery in August this year. I noticed the left seemed to "lean out" a bit more at the top but didn't think much of it. It then kept moving over time till it was about 1/2" further out at the top. Upon investigation the stick tape had stopped adhering and separated at the top. I was going to just re-do new tape until I noticed mating it up after all the tape was removed that the slipstream itself was actually warped. Don't know if the sun did it or what. So if it is "correct" and flat on the bottom the top warps out and visa versa. I've sent an email to the dealer about whether they have another one so I can bring this one by and have them decide what to do. It cannot be re-adhered with tape because it will never stick due to the warp. It is stiff enough that it will pull either the top or bottom off. So keep an eye on your slipsteams in case they want to slip off.

the left hand ones don't fit very well at all, i fitted 3 to a GT and they all looked the wrong shape.

I never fit the same as the right side but I let it go probably because I was happy to take delivery and it didn't seem like a big deal at the time.

I emailed service and when the tech called me back, he mentioned there was only "one in the United States" and I think he may very well have meant there is one left side slipstream that is not defective.

It almost seems like the punchline to a joke. Three slipstreams walk into a bar. Two are right handed....
