Hello everybody.
This is my first post here. I will be getting my platinum bronze C650GT next week. I am buying it without even test riding it, as I am a big BMW fan. I know they won't let us down.
Anyway, the scooter is already in but the technician who was trained and certified in the BMW scooters is in vacation and I have to wait until he returns.
I have to admit that I have a hard time waiting. :p

I am planning to do the following just as soon as I get my hands of my GT

- I will wrap all bronze panels in matte white 3M vinyl, including the BMW Airflow 2 helmet that I purchased from Germany. I think matte black and white theme will look really sharp.

- I will install the Stebel air horn

- I will install bi-xenon projectors in the headlights.

- I will buy the BMW 49 liter top case instead of the 35 liter topcase. They both use the same base plate so fitting is not a problem.

- I will also ad the crash pads and the slipstream deflectors

- I may powder coat the wheels to matte white or black. Not sure about the color yet.

Thanks man. I picked it up two days ago. it was a rainy day but I didn't care! :)
It has already need partially wrapped in matte white. I think it looks really good in black and white. It is almost like a cop bike. I will post pictures soon.

It is also very easy to work on the bike. Panels are multiple pieces and they are very well designed. They come right off!.

And boy it performs! It rides like a BMW motorcycle but in scooter body.
Awesome! :)

I also Thanks Bro. I selected that upwards 2 days and nights back. it was a stormy and rainy day nevertheless I decided not to attention! They have currently require in part bandaged inside matte white. I do think that seems to be excellent inside non colored documents. It can be nearly like a policeman motorcycle. I am going to publish pics quickly.
It was awesome...

Hi Guys, sorry for dropping off radar for this long. Here are some pics of my scooters. I have also modified the headlight and retrofitted it with two bi-xenon projectors.
Also, the original color of the bike was bronze but I wrapped it in matte white 3M vinyl. I also have the BMW Airflow 2 helmet. I wrapped that one in matte white vinyl too. :)

Good luck!!! Now, when can I have mine? :) Since I already knew it was too big for me but I still want one...

Btw, isn't the Stebel air horn too loud?

Thanks for posting some amazing photos of your scooter; it does look awesome. The white color looks a lot better than the original bronze color. What other modifications are you planning to do? And how much did it cost to modify the headlights?

Question: Does this vinyl stuff come off easily if you want to remove it?

Yes, it does. Just heat it up and it comes right off. Actually my C650GT is back to bronze as I found the matt white hard to keep clean. PLus, the dirt would not come off the bike easy. right now I am waiting for the 3M 1080 ScotchPrint wrap samples to arrive and see which one of the color I will like the most. I will update the thread soon.

Thanks. I have the PowerCommander V with Autotune and Malossi variator (not installed yet). I am planning to get the Dr. Pulley HIT clutch and the Arrow collector as well.
Combination of these should give my C650GT a pretty good performance upgrade!

I have a power commander V as well, but chose to have a single tune, I have seen bikes with auto tune not do as well, the auto tune wasn't keeping up witht he demands. How is yours doing? I am also waiting for my Malossi Variator to arrive from Italy, and plan to get the Dr pulley clutch as well. I hope it will fix the issue of the clutch not releasing fully when I stop after a long run on the highway.

Have you also seen teh CVT Fr4? it looks promising, but will wait until a few more people in Italy use it and see how it comes out. Also it is rumored that the GP800 scooter clutch may work on our scoots as well, I am waiting for confirmation, could open up more choices in clutch.

Doraemon,
I haven't installed the auto tune yet and in the light if this info, i nay not install it at all. Are you saying the auto tune is not good? Are you using a custom tune? Who had issues with the auto tune?
I just ordered the Arrow full exhaust and I will be installing it just as soon as I get it. Then I may get a custom tune if I know for sure the auto tune is not working.

Yes, I have been reading some reviews on the scooter mania website but the google translate wasn't doing the best job translating it.
