I finished my side rack proto-type. Basically the same as my Silverwing model, a proven design, but, slightly smaller. It can still carry duffle bags, saddle bags, or GIVI cases. I made the rack for the top box also. Should have just bought em, but, the stock was cluttering up my shop. I have attached a couple of pictures.IMG_0203.jpgIMG_0205.jpgIMG_0208.jpg

Hey, that's not the first dumb question I've asked on this forum

A guy in town I see once in awhile built racks for his Honda cruiser (don't know what model) and cut up a pair of his wife's winter gloves to use the fur lining on the inside of his racks in case they rubbed up against the bike. Not sure about the wife's response.

Do you have a "C.B." On your dash? Looks like you've got that thing wired for sound!

Not a CB, it's a Jensen JHD 910 AM FM WX radio. I really like it. Went through a handful of radios before I got it. It is actually designed to be a tractor radio and is water proof. The features I like are; it has decent reception, external input for my Ipod (etc), WX bands with alert feature, station search, presets, headphone jack, balance control (important to me as I am mostly deaf in one ear), and many more. It has connections for speakers, although I cut off those wires as I only use an ear plug. Yes, I can use it with my gloves on, I put my fingers over the top for stability and poke the buttons with my thumb.
I was never happy with CB on any of my past bikes, now I use a Scala Cardo for inter bike comms , which a lot of my riding buddies have. works good and you can talk on the phone too. Occasionally I use a GMRS depending who I am riding with.
