I installed new battery ,bendix bushing, bendix and starter. However my voltage is dropping on crank . The starter isn't spinning any more however it makes contact with bendix n cranks but no turnover. I'm letting it trickle charge to 12.5 v I'm going to let it go to 13.5 then 14 hopefully this works. Any suggestions ? Video in next post

The charger being connected even if not on may mess with results.
Retake and also take a reading at the starter for comparison.
Just from the sound, not enough juice to the starter. Bad battery or connection.

Engaging well though. *
Yea Ima let it charge until the tender turns green that's a brand new battery plus the bike been sitting for 10 days

There is a 4 amp and 7 amp option.

I just re-viewed your vid. *https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1trlMg93cU

To me it looks like you are using the 4 amp battery, I know most 4 strokes use the 7 amp option.

Maybe that's why your battery not lasting long when you try starting your scooter.
Seeing that the battery is a Lithium/LifePO, Make sure the charger is rated to charge that type of battery.

A standard batter charger will not charge that battery properly.
Clean your battery terminals real well (better then you think you need to) and complete the charge. The starter should turn over the the engine with around 12.6 volts or better.
Are you only hitting the start button for a second each time or will it only turn that small amount in the video? It doesn't sound like the ignition fired check your kill switch position also. There is a possibility you need brushes and or you have an open circuit in the windings or armature. It is hard to diagnose over the internet.
What kind of scooter is this?

Tao Tao 50 cc
It will only turn that small amount under a 12 volt charge.
It will keep turning at about 13.7 sometimes it turns over sometimes it just cranks. When it does turn over it only stays on under throttle. I adjusted valves to .005 I cleaned carb last week however it's been sitting since.

Do the new bendix keeps getting stuck in the flywheel resulting in lost of voltage due to the high strain in starter

Did you lubricate the shaft before you put the starter drive on? and lubricate the bushing.Did you check the bushing for proper size?
Why are there holes drilled in the case?
I would take the starter out and test it with no load.

Man oh man, do you guys know stuff! I might tackle a couple things this winter as I recover from knee surgery, but sure wish I had 1/10th the engineering/mechanical/creative feel some of the folks on this forum have.

Even though I charge it with this it has a hard time starting? I sprayed with carb cleaner then it crank for 5 sec gave sum gas n started. Let it run for 10 min turned off then tried to start 5 min later it would not start. I try to make sure bendix is not engaged on flywheel on start however does that matter? Additionally I ordered a new starter and bendix due to old starter will wear bendix gears so when Nea starter come new bendix will be replaced. So all in all I charge it starts turn off no start lastly it only seems to help start with carb cleaner

Sounds like you have several problems, carburetor and electrical.

Seeing that someone drilled holes in the CVT housing, I suspect you might want to look for other unusual repairs.

@snowdog That's just my spare cvt to see what's going on Inside cover I have a good one with a kick start that puffs the motor.
