Wow! They have a more muscular sport/touring look. I like it. Besides the dual exhuast the changes are all cosmetic(?) For their cars, BMW keeps a platform for 7 years and make cosmetic and tech updates.

Like the C600. Wonder if it will make it to the US. I wonder if there will be any performance changes (I'd love for the scoots to be more responsive off the line).

I hope they import to the U.S.

The Sport model looks less like a clone of the TMAX. The only change I see to the GT is the funky exhaust. Not a fan of stacked exhaust systems but if it floats your boat I'll bet it'll slip right on to a 2015 or earlier model.

I never thought the sport looked like a Tmax

Don't much care for the color on the GT. I was lucky to get a red one. I also prefer the current exhaust, much nicer smooth look. I'm not into the 'industrial' look. In fact there isn't much I'd like to have improved on my '13 other than a better sounding idle.

The "industrial" look is a good way to put it. I have mixed emotions about the color and admit that maybe it takes a rust belt guy to like that color. I am looking forward to seeing what changes the folks at BMW have dreamed up for the 2016 model year; however extensive - or not - the changes may be. Cruise control would be nice.

I would like quieter.

The only thing that I dislike on the GT is the sound of the engine at low speeds. A cruise control would be nice on a tourer to be honest. I can't get myself to trust after market throttle locks to date.

While a kaoko throttle lock has worked well for me, I can understand how you feel. I ended up making adjustments automatically after awhile before hills (up or down), but nowhere near as good as a real cruise control; which I have had on my Triumph Explorer, Road King, and various rentals.

Of course, the great thing about the latest cruise controls is the nap feature.

The throttle lock is handy if you need to pull your right hand off the throttle for a moment or two. In flat land it works fairly well as a cruise control but here in Southern Oregon with it's mountainous (albeit not all that high) rolling terrain not much of a cruise control. I still have a Rostra electronic cruise control in a cabinet in my garage waiting until the GT's warranty is over to try. One of those worked well on a motorcycle I had a while back. It will be an interesting experiment to see if one can work with the CVT system without 'hunting' all the time. I intend to use an input from the ABS wheel speed sensor rather than engine speed since the connection to engine operation and bike speed varies constantly with the CVT unless you're running wide open.

That will be a GREAT experiment! Of course, I'm still hoping the '16s come out with one as an option....or standard.

Here's the scoop:
http://www.webbikeworld.com/2016-bmw-scooters/index.htm

No cruise control... but it does sound like they heard SkuTor's incessant urging to install HIT clutches and Dr. Pulley weights and sliders... ;)

I'll definitely have to test ride one to see if it makes a significant difference. Hopefully, they will bring the sport back to the US. really annoyed they didn't offer cruise control. That is the one feature right now that is making me consider giving up my scoot for a legit sport tourer.

I noticed they have blind spot monitoring as an option on the GT. Nice feature. I was wondering when some of the car safety tech would finally make it to motorcycles.
