Weird chain sound! Help! Audio included.

Hi guys,
Recently I started having a weird chain noise. When it’s cold outside the motor works fine for the first couple of minutes and then the noise starts. After 15-20 min riding when I stop it disappears and then on taking off starts again. Took it to the dealership and they said it’s nothing, didn’t want to take the bike a part. I am worried about timing chain tensioner but they told me it’s not.
Im attaching audio from the bike after 20 min ride. It’s stopped and when I rev up you can hear the noise coming in and out. Please let me know your thoughts.
Bike is C650Gt 2016
Thanks, Ben

Symptoms are similar to mine at 2,000 miles, would clatter shortly after cold start for maybe 3 miles then disappear. Same thing next day. Timing chain tensioner, replaced by BMW under warranty in 2018. But let's hear the noise in your video.

Not able to post audio or video here. I’m 100% sure it’s the tensioner. I will try to replace it myself as the dealership doesn’t have a slot in the next two months:( and im a bit scare to ride it like this.

That’s how mine started with a rattle ..
Got worse then just shat itself and had to get it transported to the dealer

It was the timing chain tensioner. Replaced at the Dealership, now runs like new. I had the old mechanical tensioner which was not recalled and now they replaced it with the hydraulic one.

DO NOT GO TO BMW TORONTO THEY ARE THE STEELERSHIP.
This is my story of the chain tensioner, my 2013 GT had the tensioner replaced twice under warranty. The second tensioner lasted 8 years and 70000km. I bought all the parts for the job as I was going to do the work myself. I then decided that I would let the dealer do it. I handed the parts and the GT. Tw.o days later got the call saying the bike was done. I went to pick up the bike and he handed all the parts back to me and told me they could not get the screw out by the oil filter and they put a new old stock mechanical tensioner back in, I returned the parts and lost a 15% restock fee. I was not happy the charged me 4 hours labor and the tensioner a crap load of money (more than $800). (Not happy knowing I got burned) (steelership) I paid as I wanted the bike back.. 15 months later the tensioner failed again (under the 2 year parts and labor warranty) this time I went to a different dealer and they had no problem with job removing the screw and installing the hydrolic tensioner.
So now we are about 18 months into this whole issue. I met a new person and hementioned he was a paralegal. He wrote the letter and he got me about a third of my money back. (Better than nothing)
