What is it for?

The plastic tong like things on both sides of the instrument panel that can be moved outwards? If it is some kind of wind deflectors, they're not very effective IMHO.

The first time I got my bike, I tried to move the “wind deflector” in and out and felt no difference. If you are running at 100kph or more, it doesn’t make any difference.

Actually I did use them a couple of days ago on the highway at 80 mph (130 kph) and they definitely made a significant difference! I was surprised. There was a lot of buffeting with the windshield raised all the way up, then I remembered those deflectors and deployed them, and the buffeting was largely eliminated. It was great.

Truly I did so have tried them a few days in the past out of the office with 90 mph (130 kph) and they also surely created a significant distinction! When i seemed to be astonished. There were plenty of buffeting using the auto glass elevated all the way way up, then i appreciated those people deflectors and deployed these people, and also the buffeting seemed to be mostly eliminated. It was wonderful.
