Where do I post about my BMW CE-04?

Hey everyone, it's great to be part of a BMW community, but I don't see where I can specifically talk about my CE 04. When I do a search, I get a "too short" error. Very odd to have no support here

Welcome aboard. I didn't even know they were selling them yet. Why dont you start here with some pix. Maybe the mods can add a section under the c-evolution section or rename that to electric scooters.

@Stevew seems to have asked this same question about four months ago, in a different sub-forum, and doesn't seem to have received an answer, either:

Just to start a conversation...

Parts of that bike I like, but most of it doesnt make much sense. Seat does not look all that comfortable, for show not for go. Very little storage. If they had stuck to a more conventional design, the seat would be broader and more supportive and it would pop up with storage underneath. And you could put a top case on it if you liked. Doesnt look like a possibility on this bike.

Range at only 80 miles means it probably has to stay plugged in most of the time. For people who dont have a garage with power, that is a limitation too. But the dash does look nice.

Even if I didn't have my garage, there are EV charging stations at every few blocks and I can typically top off in about 15-20 minutes while eating or shopping, and it's usually free. If you've read or seen any reviews, you'd know the seat is very comfortable. It is about 11 inches wide and plush and you'd want it "broader"? If it were broader, as you say, my feet wouldn't touch the ground very well. I'm 5'10" and can only just plant my heels. I have this loop I do with my buddies around the Hollywood Hills and Santa Monica mountains here in So Cal. We usually end up at one of two spots and one has free charging, the other costs maybe $0.80 for my charge. Our loop varies from about 80 to 110 miles. If I have to go on longer trips, I have motorcycles and other scooters like my Burgman 650. So far, it's an amazing machine and stupid quick. Like, eat cars and motorcycles off the line quick. As for storage, you can fit a full-sized helmet under the seat and I have a Givi top case and rack on the way, so there ya go.

Just picked mine up today (avantgarde model). It did not fail to impress. I bought mine mainly for commuting to/from work, which is only 6 miles each way. So, I figure I can get away with charging it once per week most of the time. Nice thing is my employer has charging stations where we can plug-in for free. I downloaded a charging station app and there is no shortage of places to charge. Given my model has the quick charger, it can go from 0 to 80% charge in 65 minutes. The only folks who would have a problem with the range are those who buy a commuter bike and think it's for day trips. Gotta buy the right tool for the right job.
