I know a few of you have the cd manual from Italy.

Would one of you like to give a review of this cd,

How was it delivered (through the post office, fed ex?)
Who produced it

From the little bits I have caught it sounds pretty detailed

its pretty detailed, it takes a little while to play with all the options, but its just as good step by step instructions and illustrations as my Bentley repair cds. I think it came with regular mail. it was a cd copy.

if anybody has a way for me to upload 8gbs of data I can share it.

8Gb? Sounds like SEVERAL CDs (or perhaps a DVD)?

Adding to this review I also ended up buying this disk. The disk covers all bikes as far back as the R50. When you put the last 6 or 7 digits of the serial number in it will bring that particular bike up with all the options the way it was sent from the factory. This will include all K bikes R bikes and all others BMW has produced in the last 50 years. So if you are a multi bike owner this disk is for you.
As for copying the disk I tried and I was not able to, although I found a program on the web that allowed me to extract all the files to my hard drive. I then tried to copy the files to a memory stick with no success. I was able to copy a good portion, but 30,000 or so pictures I could not copy as they were protected.
The original disk is a double layer 8 gig. I would like to get it to a 8 gig memory stick.

I was really annoyed that it didn't have wiring diagrams, but the info is great (once you decode the way to get to the information).
It will only work off of a disk, I tried to copy to my computer but no luck... I will try a usb next, somthing I can connect to my tablet (androids rule).....

I would probably do more work on my bike if I knew how to get the tupper ware off the bike with out breaking tabs etc. that is the biggest problem about doing work on this bike, you have to remove 10 pieces of plastic to get to the part you want to work on.

Surprisingly, most of the plastic is easy to get off. I've had (and replaced a bit) the plastic for the tunneland right footboard off a few times. The key is to start with the two screws under the fuel filler door and work down. There are few hidden fasteners but not too hard to find with a little patience. And using an electric screwdriver or drill with a Torx socket makes it much less tedious!

As mentioned in my earlier post I did get all the files on my hard drive and it works just fine.
I can now put the disk aside to protect it from damage.
I am going to use the same program and see if I can extract the files to a usb stick

Guys, I would like to put a link here, a "repair and service data 06/2013 ver.26" disk. But the moderator does not allow it. So I'll post it on the Italian forum, and you can find it there.
