    Adaptive headlight in the US?

Mine is not noticeable in the slightest. I've always thought I just wasn't pushing the scooter hard enough.

BMW Motorrad mobile app Make Life a Ride

The app is terrible. We're what is called a captive audience: we can't shop around for a better app so we have to endure whatever rotten experience they conjur up. We can only do dramatic things like get a completely different platform, one which doesn't interface at all with the hardware we've...

    Stock charger amperage?

Exactly right, I'm limited to 10A inside the scooter's software.

    Stock charger amperage?

Ah, that changes things! I have the stock charger (not stock charger cable) so even when I'm on a public Level 2 station charging doesn't go past 10A.

    Stock charger amperage?

I don't think it's the power cable which limits, it's the vehicle itself. The thing we colloquially call the charger is not in fact the charger at all. It's just a fancy extension cord with some safety logic. The actual charger itself is inside the scooter, and this is factory set to 10A unless...

    Neutral setting.

I'm no hope to finding you an answer, but I really hope there's some way to turn on coasting. I really like this scooter, but coming from a motorcycle it's beyond frustrating that without a clutch I cannot take my right hand off the throttle for even a quarter second. The regen braking is so...

    Software Update

That sounds cool, any chance you could do a write up in a forum post? Or are there already people who have done it and written about it? Without explicit instructions, files, and part numbers I worry it's a quick way to brick this cool scooter. I've spent decades in embedded software and sadly...

    Software Update

Interesting! Do you know how? I suppose we would need hardware, firmware, and installation instructions.

Anyone insulated the battery pack heat sink?

Putting aside the possibility of some unnecessarily complex programming on BMW's part, moderately reducing heat transfer to the cold can't interfere with the BMS. It would just feel as if it were a warmer day, like 10 instead of 0.

Anyone insulated the battery pack heat sink?

I am awaiting delivery of my CE 04. I understand there is a large finned heatsink on the underside of the bike (it's somewhat visible in the attached pic). Has anyone experimented with putting an insulating cover over it during cold weather? This might extend by several degrees the cold weather...
